Hi Likha!
Don’t be too pressured by the “What Ifs” and “How Can I” questions. In God’s time, everything will pan out. My kids are already 6 and 2 years old respectively, meaning that I was still a journalist working during my pregnancies, during their infancy and even when my eldest started school.
There are pros and cons in the choices I’ve made. Keep in mind that there are opportunities, privileges and perks that come our way that would not have been given to us had we not been journalists.
So at the end of the day, you can strike a balance, though it may be tough at times.
It also helps to have a loving and supportive family to help get through the good and the bad times.
Basta at the end of the day, it has to be your choice. You’ll know in your heart and mind if the decision is right for you and your loved-ones.
(P.S. – One of the other perks I have post-ABSCBN is that I have gotten first dibs on most of the sale items in Greenbelt and Glorietta–hehehe)
